Standard Catio
Our Standard Catios are built with a budget in mind. This is an example of our standard Catio which is made from strong pre treated timber. At Custom Pet Enclosures we pride ourselves on making things solid and build structures that'll last.
Our Standard Catios come in natural pre treated timber. You have the option for your catio to be painted in a colour of your choice (which will protect the wood further with an OSMO paint ) or left natural.
You can also chose for your Catio to either have a polycarbonate roof or mesh roof. When deciding this take into consideration the front and possibly the sides of your catio ( dependant on design and where its situated) will be exposed to all weathers as this will be enclosed with mesh panelling. Having a roof will only partially protect your space from the elements. However it will protect your space a lot more than a mesh roof!! You can also benefit from choosing a tinted roof keeping the catio shaded in the summer season but be aware it'll be darker in the winter. Again there are lots of things to take into consideration when choosing design options for your Catio.
You can chose to have a gutter and water butt system if choosing a roof too, be aware that this will be an additional cost to consider. All of which can be discussed.​
Bengal Cats Arlo & Miya's Catio Space
Take a look above at one of our Standard Catios. This was provided in Natural pre treated timber. We built Additional dens and shelving for this project. I was lucky enough to visit our customers after a few months of the catio being installed to take some images and see how the cats Arlo & Miya were loving their new catio space. I got to see what our customers had added to the Catio. Think they have done a super job with the planting to make it such an inviting space.
